This was conveyed by Gede Yohanes Arygunartha, S.Pd., M.Pd.Fis from Warmadewa University (Unwar) when confirmed in Denpasar, Friday (24/5). Arygunartha emphasized the importance of integrating digital technology in science learning to create a more interactive and relevant learning experience for elementary school students.
Using appropriate educational software and applications, teachers can present science concepts in a more interesting and easy-to-understand way. "Digital technology can help arouse students' interest in science and facilitate understanding of complex concepts through animation, video, and simulation," he said.
In addition, said Arygunartha, teachers can use online collaborative platforms to facilitate group work and discussions between students, as well as provide faster and more effective feedback. Arygunartha highlighted the importance of additional training and support for teachers in adopting digital technology in science learning. He hopes that the government and educational institutions will be actively involved in providing accessibility.
He added that efforts to socialize and train the adaptation of digital technology in science learning have been carried out several times for elementary school teachers. The socialization and training activities were carried out on May 18, 2024 at SDN 1 Batuan involving 10 teachers.
