Increasing endurance during the Covid-19 Pandemic is very important and does not have to buy expensive vitamins. Educating the public to utilize natural ingredients to maintain body health, the Warmadewa University Community Partnership Program Team (PKM Unwar) chaired by dr. Pande Ayu Naya Kasih P., M.Biomed, carried out community service in Bukian Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency. Community service is carried out in order to improve the use of natural materials to maintain body health. dr. Pande Ayu Naya Kasih P., M.Biomed, who was accompanied by dr. Luh Gede Pradnyawati, M.Kes, dr. Desak Putu Citra Udiyani, M.Biomed, and Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Suranaya Pandit, MP held community service activities by transferring knowledge related to natural materials that can be used to maintain body health and have medicinal properties.

 

Community service activities consist of providing education accompanied by training on the benefits of natural ingredients for health, making health products based on natural ingredients, and the product registration process.It is said based on the results of previous surveys, Bukian Village is known to have often used natural ingredients for health. Many families plant medicinal plants in their yards and cultivate them. The village also has a community engaged in TOGA with the name "Kelompok TOGA Paras Usadha". TOGA Paras Usadha Group has produced several health products, such as loloh, hair oil, massage oil, and others. "These products are processed traditionally and have been used empirically by the local community. Unfortunately, the production does not take place continuously," he said. The activity took place on July 3, 2021 in the hall of the Bukian village prebekel office and was attended by 15 participants consisting of village heads and members of the TOGA Paras Usadha group. The activity took place by observing health protocols. The event began with remarks by the Bukian Village Secretary. "The activity materials that we provide do not only focus on providing education and training related to the use of natural materials to become health products, but also related to the prevention of COVID19 including health protocols and strengthening the immune system using natural materials," explained Dr. Pande Ayu Naya Kasih P., M.Biomed. In closing the activity, the Head of Bukian Village hoped that academics from Warmadewa University could assist the TOGA group in producing and standardizing health products made by the Paras Usadha TOGA Group. "I hope that with the assistance from Unwar academics, the TOGA group in our village can develop and the products produced can be useful for the community," he concluded.
