Bali as one of the world's favorite tourist destinations makes Balinese people rely more on the tourism sector. In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, it has really hit the Balinese economy. However, regardless of what happens, Bali remains an island that has extraordinary natural beauty with a culture that is known to be so diverse and unique. This needs to be preserved, it needs to be passed down to the next generation of Balinese who are the spearheads of the existence of Balinese culture. With the development of the world that is increasingly advanced, culture must still be preserved. The existence of technology beats everything, and culture must still be preserved. Likewise with the world of tourism, Bali must still be able to maintain the existence or wisdom of its local culture. The younger generation, in this case from junior high school students, especially grade 7, is the next generation. Culture and language cannot be separated, because language is part of culture. With the existence of communicative English learning based on culture, it provides an opportunity for students to understand how culture and language are at the same time. This also helps students in developing " vocabulary building " with the existence of learning with a communicative approach. By providing knowledge about culture in English language learning, it is expected to be able to provide cultural knowledge, cultural understanding, with the hope that Balinese cultural wisdom in modernization will be maintained.
