Building Creative and Innovative Generation Characters Through Pasraman

In this community service, I Made Sara stated that economic development requires resources and human resources to manage natural assets and their contents. Regulation of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia Number 56 of 2014 concerning Hindu religious education explains that the state needs quality and competitive skills and knowledge based on Hindu religious education. Pasraman is one of the non-formal educational institutions that is structured to achieve the intended goals.

Pasraman in Bali as a social organization aims for students to have the ability, knowledge, attitude, skills, independence and a sense of responsibility. Pasraman education aims to complement religious education in formal schools, in order to improve the sradha and bhakti of students. Pasraman as a non-formal educational institution in Bali is carried out in a family manner and aims to complement religious education in formal schools.

This Pasraman provides arts and culture learning such as mejejahitan, and understanding of the holy book of the Vedas, which is expected to be able to improve the character and positive ethics of the younger generation. The problem faced is the still very minimal ability of pasraman management and educators in providing Hindu religious education, character and ethics.

In fact, the insight, understanding and knowledge of the caretakers and the role of pasraman managers have a very important position in efforts to improve the quality of education in pasraman. Pasraman needs new breakthroughs, creativity and innovation to foster the development of children's human resources in the implementation of non-formal pasraman education, and to continue the government's work program, especially in the field of character education, to educate the life of the nation and state. The purpose of community service is to help realize a young generation that is creative and innovative in filling the development of human resources (HR).

Given this, it is very urgent to carry out a community service program. Pasraman in Bali is very important and research has found various models of pasraman management with an emphasis on entrepreneurial attitudes, management and accounting processes in managing pasraman, so that human resource development with ethics, knowledge and creative and innovative skills can meet the labor market.

The implications of this research and community service are the increased ability of pasraman management from the aspects of administration, financial management, maximum utilization of equipment for the learning process, and increased creativity of managers in preparing learning materials to strengthen students' character based on Hinduism so that organizational performance is strengthened.
