BANGLI, balipuspanews.com (9 May 2024) – The taxation aspect is one of the feared specters and wants to be avoided in managing a business. Not because you want to avoid your obligations but because of the complexity of rules and updates to tax regulations that are always adjusted to the country's financial needs. Not all entities are aware of and ready to implement every change in the regulation, given their limited capacity in terms of funding and knowledge. However, taxation is an obligation for every citizen based on devotion and remuneration for the use of state public facilities. Through Community Service by lecturers at Warmadewa University (Unwar), taxation issues were dissected, and assistance was provided. Bunutin Village, one of the villages in Bangli District/Regency, was one of the locations used for assistance.
Accompanied by three competent Unwar lecturers consisting of Iidam. Manik Sastri, SE, M.Si, AK, CA, NI Putu Pertamawati, SE., MM, Riza Edwindra, SE., M.Si., AK.,CA.,BKP will simplify taxation so that it is easily understood by local BUMDes. This is considering the several problems faced by BUMDes Panca Sedana Sari Bunutin, namely: (1) Human Resources, (2) Type of Business, (3) Capital, (4) Professionalism, (5) Community Support and Trust and (6) Planning. Through BUMDes, it is expected that the institutions in the community will synergize to create equal community welfare.
The establishment of BUMDes is based on the needs and potential of the village, as an effort to improve community welfare. Therefore, serious efforts are needed to make the management of BUMDes run effectively, efficiently, professionally, and independently. Like other entities, BUMDes Panca Sedana Sari also has tax obligations that must be reported every month on its periodic SPT and every year on its annual SPT.
However, the limited resources available mean that BUMDes cannot update its knowledge and tax regulations, so this service needs to be carried out on the taxation aspect of BUMDes Panca Sedana Sari. The results of the Community Service can be seen from the reporting of the BUMDes Annual Tax Returns that have participated in taxation aspect assistance so that fines and errors due to the ignorance of the management can be minimized.
