The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Warmadewa University has officially launched its 2024 Campus Introduction and Student Development Program (PPKPM) with renewed energy and enthusiasm. The program aims to welcome new students while equipping them with the essential knowledge and skills to navigate academic life and prepare for their future careers in healthcare.

The multi-day PPKPM program offers a series of activities designed to introduce new students to the campus environment, curriculum, facilities, and culture of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The program also focuses on developing soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication, and adaptability in academic settings.

Dr. Ni Made Aryani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, highlighted that this year’s PPKPM carries the theme "Developing an Innovative and Integrity-Driven Golden Generation of Healthcare Professionals." She emphasized the importance of this initial preparation in shaping future healthcare professionals who are not only academically competent but also uphold strong ethical and professional integrity.

The activities include seminars led by faculty members and healthcare practitioners, laboratory orientation, and an introduction to campus health services. Students are also encouraged to participate in social initiatives such as blood donation drives and public health campaigns, fostering a sense of social responsibility and community care.

Additionally, new students had the opportunity to engage in discussions with successful alumni from various healthcare fields, offering them inspiration and motivation to excel in their studies and future careers.

The PPKPM is expected to lay a solid foundation for the new students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Warmadewa University, helping them to face academic challenges and succeed in the ever-evolving healthcare landscape. With this fresh spirit, the faculty is committed to producing healthcare professionals who are well-prepared to make meaningful contributions to society.
