Unwar Cross-Study Program Students Explore Potential of Sedang Village, Abiansemal

Februari 22, 2024 Warmadewa University or Unwar is again holding the Real Work Lecture Program (KKN) in 2024. Students are divided into several groups from cross-study programs (prodi) and of course accompanied by a supervising lecturer.Each group is spread across several villages in Bali to provide real benefits to the community, especially to be able to solve problems in the place of service, in accordance with the theme "Optimizing Village Potential to Minimize Community Disparities Through Community Empowerment".

As with Group 32 assigned to Sedang Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. Group 32 consists of 20 students from the Public Administration, Government Science, Law and Civil Engineering Study Programs. They have been in Sedang Village since January 29 to February 29, 2024.

Dr. Ni Made Intan Priliandani, SE., M.Si., supervising lecturer of Group 32 KKN Unwar, met at the KKN location, Thursday (22/2/2024), explained that the group she was mentoring had carried out various activities in accordance with the 2024 KKN theme. "We started with community service in the Pura Dalem Sedang area, and organizing village archives at the Sedang Village Head Office," explained Intan.

The next activity, according to him, is inviting his students to teach at Elementary School (SD) Negeri 1 Sedang. The material that will be delivered by his students, starting from the values ​​of Pancasila as the foundation of the state, the diversity of tribes, races, religions of the archipelago, leadership to fostering a sense of responsibility that is adjusted to the material of elementary school children.

From the legal and administrative side, Intan said, the KKN 32 student group also held an audience with the Sedang Village apparatus, to discuss the draft village regulations and at the same time assist with inventory at the village office. Furthermore, Intan explained that the main activity of the Sedang Village KKN students was to carry out community service to improve the competence of pacar air farmers who are the majority of the livelihood of the residents of Sedang Village. This KKN Group 32 provides increased knowledge about the importance of recording daily sales of water hyacinth flowers because by recording sales, farmers can estimate profits or operations in one year. "In addition, the KKN 32 group provides knowledge about digital marketing strategies by utilizing social media," said Intan in closing.
