Lecturers from Warmadewa University carried out Community Service (PKM) activities at the Tebe Komposter Business Group in Badung, Saturday (8/5). With the title "Marketing of Organic Waste Processing Composter into Fertilizer at the Tebe Composter Business Group in Badung" this PKM is intended for learning for the Business Group, especially so that they can take advantage of opportunities by relying on household waste to become fertilizer, making financial reports and marketing products that will later become a source of income for the community. Head of the Warmadewa University PKM Team, Ade Ruly Sumartini, SE, MM, said that this business group did not yet know for sure how to make financial reports and market the composter tools that would later become a source of income for the community. "So far, the management of the composting business of processing waste into organic fertilizer has not been carried out professionally due to a lack of understanding of production and marketing strategies. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct socialization to help partners market their products, where so far partners have only relied on their regular customers, namely the community around the partner's residence," he said. Various were given by the Lecturers involved in the PKM. Among them were policy materials and the importance of a structured bookkeeping process using an accounting system as well as the importance of cost grouping and cost usage strategies delivered by Ni Made Vita Indriyani, SE, M.Si and I Wayan Gde Yogiswara Darma Putra, SE, M.SI., Ak as Lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Warmadewa University. In addition to socialization on that occasion, assistance was also given to business groups in the form of equipment to make composters, logo rebranding and an integrated accounting bookkeeping system using the MS Excel program and a marketing system through social media on Instagram and YouTube. It is hoped that this PKM activity can be useful for the community as a means of education in the independent use of kitchen waste and help the development of composters to be known to the wider community.
