Dr. Agus Darma Yoga Pratama, SS., M.Hum. in community service in Klungkung Regency is not only famous for its songket and endek cloth producers but there are still many other MSMEs that have been born and developed there. Semarapura Kaja Village is one of the MSME centers that certainly has a lot of potential that must be supported and developed so that it can become bigger and independent. However, not all MSMEs have adequate capital, strategy, and support to be able to develop rapidly so that synergy and collaboration with the government and other parties are needed to overcome this problem. One solution that can be offered is to carry out promotional activities with interactive advertising language to attract consumer interest through online media with the hope of expanding market share and of course increasing income for MSME actors in Semarapura Kaja Village.
This Community Partnership Program (PKM) educates and assists MSME actors to create good promotional and marketing strategies, both through print media or online. Assistance in optimizing the use of interactive advertising language in the creation of online advertisements for superior products in Semarapura Kaja Village targets MSMEs who sell Balinese traditional clothing as one of the characteristics of Klungkung Regency which is the center of traditional clothing MSMEs.
In its implementation, it was found that the community is still very unfamiliar not only with advertising language but also with how to create, manage, and develop social media for promotion because there are still social media such as: Instagram and Facebook which are ineffective and even inactive in uploading content so that the form of implementation of assistance is direct and not in groups to maximize the results. MSMEs have been assisted to socialize the importance of professionally managed social media with interactive advertising language, how to create visual content that is attractive to potential customers, and the importance of publication in print or online media.
Hopefully, MSMEs can consciously and independently continue to promote their products in the future through these media consistently and sustainably. In the community partnership program, there are two MSMEs that are assisted for mentoring and coaching, namely Dex's Pong and Tri Arta. Dex's Pong is one of the MSMEs under the guidance of the Semarapura Kaja Village, Klungkung District, which of course still needs assistance and coaching.
Starting a business during a pandemic in 2020 is not easy, especially at that time with knowledge about entrepreneurship including: capital, strategy, management, and creativity that is still not optimal, making this MSME, which is only one year old, unable to develop its business rapidly. From the limited types of products such as: endek, udeng, and saput bags; the absence of shops displaying products; or even the limited marketing of Klungkung and Denpasar products is not a significant obstacle if MSMEs realize how important online marketing is through social media and the use of advertising language that can attract the attention of potential customers. The following are social media owned by MSMEs that have not been managed professionally because they still mix business information with family activities.
Moreover, there is no information about the uploaded product, for example interesting language, price, stickers or emoticons, hashtags, and others that can maximize the role and function of social media. Social media management must also be carried out, for example by uploading products consistently and in a variety of ways so that the public or potential customers can see and become interested in buying them. The use of editing applications can actually help the appearance of product images to be more attractive.
