Various processed products can be made from coconuts, ranging from coconut oil, dried grated coconut, copra, coconut sugar, coconut milk, nata de coco, coconut water syrup, coconut soy sauce, chips, coconut jam, preserved coconut milk and various other products.

"Coconut is one of the agricultural products that has high economic value if further processing is carried out because almost all parts of the plant can be further processed, especially the fruit," said Wayan Sudiarta.
Sudiarta stated that overproduction caused the price of coconuts to be only Rp. 2,000 - Rp. 4,000 per fruit while the cost of climbing was quite expensive, which was Rp. 20,000 per tree. The cheap price of coconuts means that it is necessary to think about alternatives to process them into other products, so that the economic value of coconuts can be further increased and can increase people's income.
Coconuts, especially old ones, contain high calories, at 359 calories
per 100 grams; half-ripe coconut meat contains 180 calories per 100 grams and young coconut meat contains 68 calories per 100 grams.
While the average calorie value contained in coconut water is around 17 calories per 100 grams. Green coconut water, compared to other types of coconuts, contains the highest tannin or antidote (anti-poison).
It is stated that the composition of chemical substances contained in coconut water includes ascorbic acid or vitamin C, protein, fat, carbohydrates, calcium or potassium.
"The minerals contained in coconut water are iron, phosphorus and sugar consisting of glucose, fructose and sucrose," he said.
Sudiarta said the development of innovative coconut-based products is expected to support the development of tourist villages in Badung Regency. Given that coconut trees are quite easy to find in villages in Badung Regency, one of which is in Carangsari Village.
