10-10-2023 || The location of community service at the Dewi Ratih Balinese Dance Studio in Banjar Busana Kaja, Baha Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, there is no written agreement that is used as a complement to guidelines for behavior for artists with other parties regarding rights and obligations, where this cooperation agreement is intended to accommodate things according to the development of the economy of the community's needs that need to be regulated, however, a cooperation agreement has occurred with the Baha Village Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) which was made only verbally, when a dispute occurs, the imposition of sanctions is difficult to apply. Therefore, through the community service program that is the target of the service, synergy will be carried out to design a written agreement that is in accordance with the needs and developments of the community, in this case the artists. And when a dispute occurs, the dispute resolution process is attempted through deliberation/family methods. However, if this deliberation method fails, the dispute resolution is carried out through the Court process.
Empowerment, Preservation and Legal Protection of the Dewi Ratih Balinese Dance Studio in Banjar Busana Kaja, Baha Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency is very important to maintain the existence of an art studio and to ensure that its work is not claimed by other parties. With the issuance of the operational permit for the Dewi Ratih Busana Kaja Dance Studio in 2019, therefore, through the community partnership program, the PKM Team of the Faculty of Law, Warmadewa University, Denpasar, is assisting in drafting a cooperation agreement with other parties. This aims to have authentic evidence that the Dewi Ratih Balinese dance studio has officially become a legal entity.
With the existence of evidence of the legality of the Balinese dance studio, it will become a legal umbrella for the community in Indonesia as Art Culture, especially Banjar Busana Kaja, Baha Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, so that there are no other Balinese dance studios with the same name, because this is not permitted by law. In addition, as a legal entity, the Balinese dance studio Dewi Ratih at Banjar Busana Kaja has the rights and obligations as a legal subject, which will later be entitled to receive cooperation with other parties and grant programs from both the private sector and the government.
By becoming a legal entity, it opens up opportunities for PKM partners to be more free to preserve local culture because its legality has been guaranteed and has the potential to receive coaching and grant assistance from the government and the private sector. Likewise, the preservation of Balinese dance by the Dewi Ratih Studio continues to be optimally improved by promoting it not only through offline media but also through online media which aims to prevent Balinese dance culture from becoming extinct. Then, improve the renewal of artistic creations and collaborate with other cultures to be more varied and creative, as well as the preservation of Balinese dance Sanggar Dewi Ratih continuously always performed at every religious ceremony.
