Unwar Lecturers Provide Assistance and Socialization on the Implementation of Cooperative Regulations and Management Systems During the Covid-19 Pandemic

The Covid-19 pandemic has had quite profound economic and social implications for MSMEs in Indonesia. Bali Province is one of the best provinces for cooperatives in Indonesia. This can be seen from the achievement of several awards that have been given by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia to cooperatives in Bali. The government is also optimistic to continue to develop cooperatives and MSMEs in Bali properly and correctly so that in the future they can meet the market both domestically and abroad.

Thus, preventive measures are needed in the form of coaching through mentoring, counseling, and socialization activities with the aim of this Covid-19 pandemic. This also underlies the Warmadewa University Community Partnership Program in providing assistance to Cooperative partners to strengthen cooperatives, especially during the pandemic. One of the cooperative partners who received the mentoring program was the Santhi Prapta Sedana Savings and Loans Cooperative Partner, Kelod Kangin area, Beng Village, Gianyar District, Gianyar Regency, Thursday (10/6). Head of PKM Team Dr. Ni Luh Made Mahendrawati, SH.M.Hum. accompanied by a number of Teams explained that this Program was implemented by providing coaching, socialization and assistance in analyzing the existing cooperative credit agreement format and resolving problems if there are problematic credits for the Management, Employees and representatives of members of the Shanti Prapta Sedana Savings and Loan Cooperative, Beng Village Environment, Gianyar District, Gianyar Regency. "This is one of the preventive efforts carried out by the Santhi Prapta Sedana Savings and Loans Cooperative in Beng Gianyar," said Dr. Ni Luh Made Mahendrawati while mentioning that her party had studied several things, namely.

a. Implementation of the right cooperative management system during the Covid-19 pandemic

b. Model format of savings and loan agreement that is in accordance with the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic.

c. Provide guidance to cooperative managers in the event of bad debts, analyze existing credit agreements to make them better.

d. Socialization and coaching to cooperative member representatives regarding cooperative management and provisions of savings and loan credit agreements.

Thus, after the community service at the Santhi Prapta Savings and Loans Cooperative, the results of the analysis and the format of the cooperative savings and loan agreement were submitted, increasing the understanding of the cooperative management in resolving problematic loans. With this increased understanding, it is hoped that there will be progress, namely that managers of savings and loan cooperatives can prevent problematic credit through standard agreement models and appropriate credit problem resolution patterns.
