August 30, 2023. Academics from the Faculty of Agriculture, Warmadewa University (FP-Unwar) invited PKK mothers in Bongan Village, Tabanan to start processing chili production produced by farmers into chili flour.
The hope is that when the price of chili is cheap, PKK mothers can use chili to make processed products so that they can increase the added value of chili.
"Chili is an agricultural product that rots quickly, so it cannot be stored for long. Therefore, a touch of innovation is needed so that the product is not wasted, so that farmers do not suffer losses. The production of chili flour or dried chili can be a solution, so that the shelf life becomes longer," said the FP-Unwar academic who is also the Head of the Community Service Team in Bongan-Tabanan Village, Ir. Anak Agung Ngurah Mayun Wirajaya, MM when confirmed in Denpasar on Tuesday (29/8/2023).
