Village Credit Institutions, hereinafter referred to as LPD, are financial institutions owned by every Traditional Village Institution in Bali. The working mechanism is almost the same as a bank financial institution as is generally known by the community. In addition to collecting community funds in the form of savings and deposits, LPDs also operate in the real sector financing micro and medium enterprises so that their existence is increasingly needed by the community.

Another purpose of establishing LPDs throughout Bali is to support the role of traditional villages in supporting social, cultural, customary, and religious life so that traditional villages have independent and sustainable sources of financing. Finally, since 2015, the condition of the LPD of Marga Dajan Puri Village began to experience liquidity difficulties.

The method of devotion used with lectures, discussions, and participation involved, the stick holders involved. Community savings began to be difficult to collect even in amounts under one million rupiah. Community savers, both small and hundreds of millions, began to hesitate to collect their money from the LPD because of the difficulty in disbursing it. Unrest began to emerge in the community until finally several village community meetings were held in order to find the real problems that occurred. In several village community deliberation meetings of Marga Dajan Puri Village, a solution was found to solve the problem. This is the consideration and background for why this community service activity was carried out at the LPD of Marga Dajan Puri Village.

Based on the identification of the problems carried out, it was found that there were several problems of the Partners in this service, including: The capital of the LPD of Marga Dajan Puri Village is still minimal, The quality and integrity of human resources from the old management is low, The discipline of the loan borrowers still needs to be improved, Rarely get guidance from the government, The economic mode of the Marga Dajan Puri Village community from the tourism industry sector is still underdeveloped. The meeting held in early August 2021 involving 50 customers, both smooth and non-smooth, was seen in the discussion.

The participants were very enthusiastic in listening to the lecture from the resource person. The topic of this meeting was more focused on the legal aspects, both customary and Hindu religious law, regarding the nature of debt. The resource person explained that debt must be paid even if it means giving up one's life. If it is not paid, especially if you deliberately do not want to pay the debt while the ability is there, then this is called 'mirat'.

As a result, the person concerned's good name will be tarnished, morally gossiped about in society, and will no longer be trusted to borrow money.
