August 31, 2024 Klungkung, June 5, 2024 – The Community Partnership Empowerment Program (PKM) with the title “Empowerment of the Tedung Dewata Craftsmen Group in Semarapura Tengah Village: Facing Challenges and Preserving Cultural Heritage” was successfully implemented on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
This activity took place from 09.00 to 13.00 WITA at the location of the Tedung Dewata Craftsmen Group, Semarapura Tengah Village, Klungkung. This Community Service was implemented by a community service team from Warmadewa University, led by I Nyoman Sutapa, SE., M.Si, as Team Leader, along with other team members, namely Dr. Agus Darma Yoga Pratama, SS, M.Hum and I Gde Agung Wira Pertama, SE, MM This program received a warm welcome from partners, the Tedung Dewata Craftsmen Group led by AA Istri Rai Erawati, with the presence of 15 participants from partners.
Some of the main activities in this community service include counseling on calculating production costs and determining the cost of goods sold (HPP), as well as training on human resource management and the importance of attractive product descriptions. In addition, participants also receive guidance on the use of digital technology to increase efficiency and market reach. As part of this activity, the service team also provided supporting tools and materials, such as simple accounting software and product packaging guides.
This step is expected to help the Tedung Dewata Craftsmen Group in strengthening production capacity and increasing the competitiveness of their products in local and international markets. By implementing this PKM program, it is hoped that the Tedung Dewata Craftsmen Group can apply the knowledge and technology they have acquired to overcome existing challenges and continue to preserve Bali's cultural heritage in the future.
