Community Service of BEM Fisip Unwar Collaborates with MAP PPs Unwar in Buruan Village

The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Warmadewa University (Fisip Unwar) in collaboration with the Master of Public Administration (MAP) Study Program, Postgraduate Program, Warmadewa University (PPs Unwar) held a Community Service (PKM) activity at the Balai Banjar, Buruan Village, Gianyar Regency.

The PKM, which carries the theme "Ambawing Rumaksa Janaloka: Starting Real Action of Galasena Muda in Harmonizing Tri Hita Karana for the Sake of Sustainability and Beauty" involved 94 new students of Fisip Unwar and 10 students of the MAP Study Program, PPs Unwar on Saturday (10/21/23).

Before carrying out the activity, the structural officials, lecturers, BEM and students began it with a joint prayer at the Durga Kutri Temple.

Present as speakers:

  • A.A Ngurah Kakarsana, S.E. (Penglingsir Puri Ageng Blahbatuh) with the material The Important Role of Puri in Village Management.
  • Ida Ayu Gede Yuni Anita Sari (Staff of the Regional XV Cultural Preservation Center) with the material Management of Archaeological Sites.
  • Dr. Drs I Made Mardika, M.Si (Lecturer of the Master of Public Administration Postgraduate Unwar) with the material Ecotourism-Based Village Management.
  • I Putu Hadi Pradnyana, S.IP., M.Si (Lecturer of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Unwar) with the material Digital-Based Village Organizational Governance).

The Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Unwar, represented by the Deputy Dean I, Dr. Drs. I Made Yudhiantara, MAP., expressed his gratitude to the Buruan Village for granting permission to the BEM Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Unwar to hold this PKM activity. Through this PKM, it is hoped that students will be able to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially community service so that students can gain experience in the community which can later become provisions in the future.

On this occasion, BEM Fisip Unwar handed over a Video Profile of Buruan Village and a Booklet of Buruan Village which were produced by BEM Fisip Unwar. Not only that, BEM Fisip Unwar also handed over assistance in the form of direction signs and trash bins. Furthermore, the event was filled with material presentations by the speakers and closed with cleaning in the Durga Kutri Temple Area and Beji Pancoran Solas Temple and the installation of signs by BEM and Fisip Unwar students.
