Direct observation in the Karang Ayu and Karya Laksana livestock groups in Ayunan Village, Abiansemal District, shows that the Balinese cattle husbandry activities of the partners are very constrained by capital, feed, cattle maintenance management, processing and drainage of livestock manure and how to increase the income of farmers from the Balinese cattle husbandry business. The main problems and will be the focus of problem solving are the low ability of Balinese cattle maintenance management, low productivity in processing livestock manure into organic fertilizer and low business efficiency and sustainability of organic fertilizer products from livestock manure.
The results of this activity are expected to increase production and productivity and produce organic fertilizer from cow dung that can be sold so as to increase the income of Balinese cattle farmers in Ayunan Village. Balinese cattle maintenance management in the partners is not carried out professionally because it is managed in a family and traditional manner and is not a main livelihood, Balinese cattle maintenance is only a side job to fill spare time in between farming times which now mostly use labor either in land processing, sowing, or harvesting. Likewise, related to bookkeeping such as diaries, cash books, production cost calculations, profit or loss calculations are not yet available properly.
Related to human resource management, it is still unclear where the division of work is not clear between one and another. Partners do not yet have a good cattle maintenance system due to limited knowledge and abilities possessed by farmers. Management of cow dung and manure channels has not been managed properly, which should still be able to be managed into organic fertilizer and sold to farmers so that it can increase the income of cattle farmers.
