Lecturers of Warmadewa University held a Community Service (PKM) activity in Bongkasa Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. The PKM activity took the theme "the role of women as promoters of family behavior change in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic" The community service participants consisted of the head of Bongkasa village and Bongkasa village staff, the head and representatives of the members of the Bongkasa Village PKK Team, the head and representatives of the Bongkasa Village Youth Organization members and the academic community, namely lecturers and students of the FISIP Warmadewa University, in its implementation, participants continued to use health protocols, namely wearing masks, maintaining distance and using hand sanitizers, the head of the PKM team I Gusti Agung Ayu Yuliartika Dewi, S.AP., MAP said that Bongkasa village was chosen as the location for this year's PKM because the head of Bongkasa village hoped for assistance from the Unwar academic community to provide understanding to its residents to change their behavior so that they always obey health protocols so that they can suppress cases of the spread of Covid-19 through family clusters.

 

The socialization material delivered online by resource person Dr. Ni Luh Riniti Rahayu, M.Si who is a Postgraduate Lecturer at Ngurah Rai University and Chair of the Bali Sruti NGO explained that women are one of the family members, especially mothers who have an important role in the family's economic resilience during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely earning additional income in the family economy, managing finances in the household, the new role of mothers in the normal era such as teaching healthy living behaviors, becoming a personal teacher for their children, carrying out planting activities in the yard. Furthermore, family support has a big influence on working mothers during the Covid-19 pandemic, such as good communication between husband and wife, giving each other advice, caring about each other's health, and providing peace of mind for each other in the family. In addition to socialization, assistance was also provided to the community in the form of a digital hand sanitizer place. It is hoped that this PKM activity can be useful for the people of Bongkasa Village, especially women, so that they can become promoters of changing family behavior and implement the results of the socialization activities to their families so that they can prevent the transmission of Covid-19 through family clusters.
